Standardisation</h4> <p>&nbsp; </p> <ul> <li>regular information on the status of the work of TC 222 </li> <li>assistance with establishing a labelling of the filling material in compliance with the standards </li> <li>training and seminars on the testing, definitions and requirements standards of TC 222 (at reputable testing institutions or at the enterprises of our members) </li> <li>active participation and consultation on the standards adopted and being developed </li> <li>exchange of experiences in the application of the already adopted standards as part of a technical commission comprising international members </li> </ul><h4>II. Scientific Studies and Consultancy Services</h4> <p>&nbsp; </p> <p>e.g. on the following subjects: </p> <ul> <li>house dust mite allergy </li> <li>microclimate under the duvet/ </li> <li>collecting feathers </li> <li>comfort capacity of duvets </li> </ul><h4>III. Business (Policy) Issues</h4> <p>&nbsp; </p> <ul> <li>information on current import and export regulations </li> <li>statistics (import and export) </li> <li>representation of the interests of the members vis-à-vis international organisations, government agencies and working groups </li> </ul> <p>Moreover, there are ongoing reports on current issues. The opinions of the members are solicited through regular meetings, telephone conferences and circular letters. </p> <p>The annual membership meeting informs the members in summarised form about the current issues.
